Philosophy
Most people do not have the time, the inclination or the expertise to deal with the complexity, tax issues, etc., involved in effectively managing their financial affairs. I offer a comprehensive set of personal wealth management services so my clients can focus on what they do best and enjoy most. I am a conservative advisor, best suited to work with patient, long-term investors.
I align my interests with those of my clients.
Long-term Focus
I work best with clients who wish to accumulate wealth to achieve their future financial and retirement goals through sound practices over the long-term. Portfolio design follows from a long-term strategy based on your financial and investment objectives. This means that:
-
Short-term practices of chasing hot funds, buying on "tips" and selling on emotional reaction is avoided
-
Since markets cannot be timed successfully over the long-term, I discourage frequent trading and avoid market timing
Your long-term returns are maximized.
Minimize the investment management cost
I use a combination of index funds, pooled funds, fund companies with low management expense ratios. The resultant cost is generally less than that of the Mutual Fund Companies' MER.
Maximizing your net returns takes precedence.
Conservative investment style
I emphasize consistent, risk-controlled returns.
You have peace of mind.
Account Type, Size & Fees
I am most effective with medium to large size accounts whose complexity of affairs requires considered financial analysis, tax and estate planning. I have a minimum account size of $100,000.
-
My fees are based on assets under management, to avoid a potential conflict of interest that may occur with transaction-based fees or commissions. I do not buy on deferred sales charge to maximize flexibility and avoid "exit pain"
-
I suggest appropriate financial products for your account regardless of the compensation they generate for me
Your interests come first.
